Biography

Moline was born in Montpellier and received his degree from the University of Avignon. He then went to Paris where he was accepted as a lawyer to the French parliament. However, he devoted most of his time to literary pursuits. Moline first collaborated with Gluck on L'arbre enchanté, ou Le tuteur dupé, a one-act opéra comique

which premiered in Vienna at the Schönbrunn Palace
