After a lot of convincing by Channel 62 she gave up the singing group and moved with her two daughters to live in Los Angeles and host the show Los Angeles en Vivo. Menchaca who is divorced, was married for 11 years, and has two daughters, Yania and Natalia.
Her older daughter Yania worked on 12 Corazones in the casting department for a year before entering college.
