Earley Life

Pattie Howard was born in Cleveland Ohio. She began studying violin at age 7 and wrote her first composition winning first place in the Cleveland public school classical competition citywide in her second year. Pattie recorded her first song at age 13 as lead singer in the gospel group "All God's Children" and began singing professionally at age 17, traveling world wide with various major artists. Her first solo recording was entitled "Second Thoughts". Many of Howard's earlier credits are listed as "Francine Howard" before she changed her stage name to "Pattie Howard".

Pattie was offered a deal at RCA Records to release her self-titled debut album- Pattie Howard. "Selfish", was the first single released off Pattie Howard. ‎
