Lord Eswara Temple on Pathikonda hill is one of the most famous historical temples that is located 5 km towards the southeast of Pathikonda. The entire village is surrounded by Mango gardens, Papaya, Banana trees, sugar canes, and Paddy fields and green crops, forests and tamarind trees etc. ZP High School, MPP School are located near to the hill area which have a peace environment for the students for the learning.

Holidays

On May , every year, people from different regions participate in a festival for blessings and well being from the holy deity "Gangamma". This holiday originated from a 1930s plague which prevailed in the region, taking thousands of lives. The local people believe that this plague was controlled by offering prayers in the form of Ganga Jatra. During celebration of gangajathara its believed that offering coconuts in thousands will result in fulfilling devotees wishes.

The major investments are in dairy and poultry because the climate suits these businesses. There are many dairy and poultry farms that have come up in recent years. Pathikonda was popular for manufacturing the building pheripherals (stone products) for a long time.There are many small scale industries developing in and around Pathikonda and the government is giving aid to develop such industries.People in Pathikonda speak telugu, Tamil, and kannada languages.

M.P.Ele. School is one of the oldest schools in Pathikonda.Recently it converted as Z.P.High School.
