 born in 1937. After starting his writing career in the mid 1950s, he had published several poetry works and books between 1960 and 1994. He was also an editor-in-chef for various Arab magazines. In 1964, he founded the poetry magazine Al-Mulhaq. He also translated several plays from English to Arab including Shakespeare.
