The Orkestra Rumpilezz is an orchestra of percussion and brass created in 2006 by Letieres Leite, winner of the Bravo! Award for Best Popular Album of the Year 2010 and the Brazilian Music Award, in the categories Best New Artist and Best Instrumental Group.

The teacher

In 1979, Letieres Leite initiated his study by himself, and discovered a real vocation to brass instrumens, such as flute ans saxophone. He get it Federal University of Bahia. Later, in 1987, already in Europe, continued to dedicate himself at the Konservatorium Franz Schubert in Vienna - Austria. Since then, the Letieres have been presenting with innumerable musicians and in festivals in Europe and Brazil. They’ve also participated in recording with artists such as: Nico Assumpção
