. As of 25 June 2008 the song has been A Listed at BBC Radio 1, the first time a McFly single has made the A List since "Five Colours in Her Hair". The opening sequence of the video for "One for the Radio" is a reenactment of the beginning scene in the 1985 movie "Back to the Future," from which McFly got their name. The movie features Michael J. Fox, and the McFly video shows Danny Jones, one of the singers and lead guitarists of the band doing the same thing. “One for the Radio” has received a platinum sales status certification for sales of over 100,000 copies in the Brazil (Only in downloads).
