Route description

NC 207's northern terminus is at NC 200 in Monroe, southwest of the city's center. Within the city limits, it bears the street name Hayne Street. Exciting Monroe to the south near Lake Monroe, the road name changes to Wolf Pond Road and continues on a relatively straight southerly path toward the South Carolina

 state line. The route terminates at the line, where SC 207 continues south and then west to Pageland.
