.He was born on 1 September in 1987 in the country's capital:New Delhi.His schooling is from Laxman Public school in Delhi. His height is 6'2. He came to Kolkata to study Management but instead he got into modeling. While traveling in a metro, a modeling co-ordinator spotted him and persuaded him to enter the world of modelling. Nishant got his portfolio done and after that was soon part of the modeling industry and walked ramp for best names in Kolkatta. He got his on campus placement in ICICI prudential but instead took the offer of acting which came in although earlier he was offered a lead role in a Bengali film directed by Shankar Roy, but he couldn't take it up because of his studies. He has done his MBA from IIM-C.
