The National Broadcasting School offers two types of programs and certifications. One in Presentation and Production, and the other in Radio News. The Radio News course has earned the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC) accreditation.

The School contains several instructors and mentors from various parts of the broadcasting and media industry. The Director of the school is Rory McLeod, who started his broadcasting career in the newsroom at Radio Clyde
