This town is located between Okha and Dwarka. It is about 10 km from Okha and about 20 km from Dwarka.

There is only one ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL in Mithapur by the name MITHAPUR HIGH SCHOOL. There are two mediums, english medium and Gujarati medium. Most students come from the city and also hail from dwarka and okha. The one aspect which wooes the people coming from other state and country is the SEASHORE BEACH which likely attracts the attention of many.
