under Esa-Pekka Salonen
. He was subsequently promoted to Associate Conductor in 1999, holding that title through June 2004.
In 2002 he won the Seaver/National Endowment for the Arts Conductors Award

Harth-Bedoya also holds a position as Distinguished Guest Professor of Conducting at Texas Christian University
where he works with conducting students and conducts special ensembles.
