. Micklethwaite was at one point a village in its own rights, however through the growth of Wetherby it is now seen as an area of Wetherby. In 2004 Micklethwaite farm was mostly demolished and 150 dwellings have now been constructed. Micklethwaite also has Wetherby's Police Station
