Early and personal life

Hamilton was born on July 29, 1984, in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended Tulane University

 where he met his wife Lauren, who is now a teacher. They have one child. In 2006, Hamilton was a first team All-American at Tulane despite a thumb injury which forced him to miss much of the 2005 season.
