Music career

Having already written several songs, Frith began looking to put a band together in 2005 in order to get these tunes to reach the public. He originally began working with a guitarist and after advertising for a bass player and a drummer; 'The Troubadours' were born later that year.

; Frith disbanded the group in late 2009. During the band's time together they gained a following in both the north of England and Japan. They also released their debut album in Japan in 2008.

In June 2010, Frith announced that he had been working on new material since The Troubadours' split, with his new band, The Captive Hearts. Their debut single entitled "Hummingbird" was released in September 2010.
The Captive Hearts new single 'Believin' Love' is due for release on 11 July 2011

To close friends and colleagues Mark is known as 'The Human Jukebox' for his ability to play a song after hearing it sometimes only once.
