started writing the film just a few days after appearing for his last university exam. It took him almost two years to write the film. The last ten minutes of the film were re-written a night before the first narration to the actor to whom it was initially offered for the lead role of Aayur, before Sanjeev Bhargav stepped in.

The 28 minute cut was screened for the first time on August 16, 2011 at the N.K.T.T College of Arts
