Facilities

Longcross has few public facilities of its own; exceptions include the Old School cafe and boarding kennels. The cafe has been a family run business for fifty years. There is no village centre, pub, or green. It is a dispersed village.

, on Burma Road, this is poorly serviced and is not easily accessible from the village. The nearest station with a regular services is Virginia Water

. There is no public bus service.

Today

Longcross Road has no special speed restrictions, street lights or pavements, making it difficult and potentially dangerous to navigate the village on foot.

A large portion of Longcross is taken up by the Longcross Estate, currently owned by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum

. There are public footpaths and bridleways leading through the estate and onto Chobham Common
