History

The LSO was founded in 1948 originally as the Croydon School of Osteopathy by Horace Jarvis. It changed its name to the London School of Osteopathy in 1977.

Clinics

The LSO is unique in that students are introduced to the clinical environment from the commencement of the course. The clinic is extremely busy offering osteopathic healthcare to a very diverse patient base being located in an inner-city area and on the edge of the city of London. There are also expectant mother and baby clinics. The LSO has an excellent relationship with local GP practices. The subsidised fees charged reflect the diversity of the patient base.
