Route Types:
  • X before number indicates an express route, making fewer stops.
  • L after number (as in 53AL) indicates the route is a Limited, making fewer stops.
  • A, B, E, H, N, or W after number indicate a separate route, but along the same street or direction as its companion route.
  • N before number indicates night owl, overnight service. (55N and 90N are not Owl routes.)
  • All CTA bus routes are wheelchair accessible .
