Early life

While still in school, Fury contacted Brian Dixon at the age of sixteen, he advised her to look into martial arts in preparation for a wrestling career. Lisa Fury enrolled in Ju-Jitsu classes and spent two years learning the ancient Japanese martial art to aid in learning the basics of wrestling. She obtained a Blue Belt in Ju-Jitsu. She then began her training under Robbie Brookside

Fury was contacted by Brian Dixon of All Star Wrestling

Lisa Fury wrestled on the independent circuit of England and the rest of Europe for several years. From May 2006, she began touring with the Italian promotion, Nu-Wrestling Evolution

In the summer of 2007, Lisa competed for the Independent Wrestling Federation at Wrestliada in Moscow, Russia. She was victorious against Russian Ladies Champion Vika Kamentsov in a non-title match.

On the November 13, 2009 episode of WWE SmackDown, Fury, under the ring name Lisa Taylor, lost a match against Beth Phoenix

Personal life

Lisa Fury's grandfather, Tony Fury, was a professional wrestler who competed in the UK in the 1950s and 1960s. She credits him as having the most influence on her career.

Outside of wrestling, Lisa has worked as a legal secretary. She also hopes to have a career in modeling and was featured on Maxim
