Government
The township is classed as a township of the second class of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A three person board of supervisors, elected for a six year term, governs the township. Currently (as of January 2008) the board of supervisors is: Keith A. Whipkey, William C. Penrod, Jr. and Timothy Komar.Public Services
