In January 2010 Lee announced that he was working on an avant-garde
documentary film
, subsequently revealed to be titled 'Older Than God'. The film promises to explore the creative worlds of (longtime collaborator) Markus Reuter, in a manner reflective of the tonal quality of his work. The visual language adopted by Lee for this project was revealed in the official trailer, which was released mid-February. A special 15 minute featurette cut was made available online for a 48-hour promotional period in June 2010, with the final film expected in 2012.
In early 2011 Lee completed extensive production work on an album for (ex-Fairport Convention
) singer Judy Dyble
entitled 'Newborn Creatures'. In addition to his role as producer / arranger Lee co-wrote the majority of the material, performed on all tracks, and mixed the album. Aside from selected tracks that have been issued within official compilations the work largely remains unreleased.
Most recently Lee has been producing, co-arranging and mixing an album entitled 'Propeller' for singer/songwriter GRICE. Contributing artists include renowned pedal steel guitar
