Geography and history

The Lechouri is a former community since 1997 municipal district of the municipality in the prefecture of Achaia Aroania. For the name of existence at the Historical Folklore C. Poretsano two versions. The first is derived from the Homeric word "queue" which means korfovounia and the second from the Cretan word "Lesky" which means ridges.
