Rake sharing

The Mysore portion of the train shares its rakes with 16231/32 Mysore-Mayiladuthurai Express. Because of the Srirangapatna station located between the 2 branches of Cauvery the station cannot accommodate more than 19 coaches and hence more coaches cannot be added to Mysore section

Timings

This train leaves Mysore daily at 20:15 hrs to reach Bangalore at 23:30 hrs. It leaves Bangalore at 23:45 to reach Chennai at 7:35AM the next day.In return direction this train leaves Chennai at 21:30hrs to reach Bangalore at 4:10AM. It leaves Bangalore at 4:50 to reach Mysore at 8AM. The train is never departs from Bangalore on time, but makes up for the same between Bangalore and Chennai.
