Kathy Jean Callaway wrote for several daytime television dramas including Another World, Secret Storm, The Doctors, Somerset and Guiding Light, with an Emmy nomination for work on Another World.
She graduated from University of Montana. and also attended Grinnell College and the University of Minnesota.
She taught at Mankato State University, Mankato, MN., Moorhead State University, Moorhead, MN; University of Alaska/Fairbanks at Nome, Alaska.
She lived a year in Tartu, Estonia, as a George Soros Fellow
