 band. The band consists of Barrie-James O'Neill (vocals, guitar), Hamish Fingland (vocals, guitar), Lewis Andrew (vocals, guitar, accordion, keyboard), and Chris Potter (vocals, guitar). The band was declared in late 2009, in its hometown of Glasgow

The quartet met through a mixture of friends' bands and fortunate pub encounters. The band gained popularity in early 2010. Having performed in local concerts, and later expanded to perform to larger audiences at major major festivals

Kassidy began writing and recording their music in a share house

, which they later converted to a personal studio, which could be used to record their music. In such conditions, they released three EP's

, the second entitled The Rubbergum EP Volume 2 on the 16th of August, 2010.

To follow their EPs, Kassidy released their debut album Hope St. on the 23rd of May 2011.
