By the mid-1980s, The Spanish International Network became known as Univision. KDTV continued its format of full-time Spanish language programming. Finally, it became owned and operated by Univision in 1992. Univision 14 is also rebroadcast on KDTV-CA channel 28, in Santa Rosa
