 1978, and was named second team All-American by NEA in 1978. Played in 1978 Hula Bowl
 and the 1978 Japan Bowl where he was named Defensive MVP. His senior year, Norman accumulated 199 total tackles (including 141 solo stops), which shattered the former school record of 165 total tackles set two years earlier by Steve Sanders. Currently holds Indiana University record for most career tackles with 444 tackles; as well as the school record for most tackles in a game with 26 against Ohio State on November 18, 1978. Later went on
to play professionally with the Seattle Seahawks. 2nd round pick - 45th player selected in the 1979 NFL Draft. He played six seasons for the Seattle Seahawks
