Braddock played club cricket for South Lancashire and Albion, moving on later to Sixteen Colts and Liverpool. Braddock made his only first-class appearance in 1873, as an opening batsman, scoring two runs in the first innings, and 11 in the second.

Braddock umpired one first-class match in 1883.
