In May 1964, it founded Iraklis, Toxotis Larissa, Aris Larissa and Larissaikos and founded AEL. The first president of AEL was Iraklis president Tzovaridis, in the new team featured some former players including Kondokastas, Tsolakis, Adamos, Harissoulis, Dimitriou, Lellis, Papazoglou, Katsianis, Saltapidas and Kassas.
