2008/09 season Ferencvaros were the champions of the Hungarian NB2 and were promoted to the NB1.

Igor made his NB1 debut against Debrecen VSC on 20 September 2009 when he was substituted in 74th minute. That season Igor made 3 appearances with the second one coming against Ujpest on October 20 in the 86th minute, and his third against Diosgyor VTK on 31 October in the 46th minute.

Igor was then loaned out to a NB2 team Szolnok MAV in February 2010. He had 13 appearances with 12 starts and 9 goals. That season Szolnok MAV were the champions of the NB2 and were promoted to the NB1.

International career

On 12 November 2008 he was called to a Canada U-20 training camp in Switzerland, here scores his first both goals for the under 20 national team on 24 November 2008 against Young Boys Bern II
