Hossein Nassehi was born in Tehran

State Conservatory. For many years he was the professor at the Tehran Conservatory; Hossein Dehlavi

and Parviz Mansouri were among his pupils.
Most of Nassehi's works because of his political activities never performed in his country under Shah era.
He died of a heart attack in Tehran in 1977.
Nassehi's son, Fereydoun is a pianist and his daughter, Nasrin, a member of Tehran Symphony choir.
