Hope Bridges Adams Lehmann (16 December 1855 – 10 October 1916) was the first female general practitioner and gynecologist in Munich

She also became involved as a peace activist and took one for the equality of women.
She was the first woman to obtain a medical diploma in 1880 but had to wait until 1904 to have it acknowledged. She opened a surgery with her husband, Otto Walther. She later created a sanatorium in the Bavaria
