The Ski Area

All 806 acres (3.3 km²) and 1035 feet (315.5 m) of vertical can be reached from this fixed grip quad. A new chair replaced the old double chair in 2001. Named after Hoodoo's founder, Ed Thurston, the Ed replaced the aging Red double chair in 2001. The Manzanita triple chair currently serves the "Bowl" area of Hoodoo. This area is open for night skiing and the terrain park can be accessed from this lift. New in 1999, the Hodag is usually windblown up high but is nice below Over Easy. The beginner area consists of a double chair, magic carpet and a carousel located well away from the beaten path on a wide open gentle slope ideal for learning.
