The Hebrew Academy was established in 1943 by the Telz Yeshiva. It was the first Jewish day school

In 1981 the school opened expanded the Taylor Rd. facility with a new wing that included two and a half stories, eight full size classrooms, and a large, multi-purpous room on the lower level. Ivan Socolof was chairman of the building committee.
