As per some old records & books of Mistri community Hajapar was also known as Rajapar.
These group of warriors were also talented architects and have contributed in erection of most of the historical architect of Kutch. The Mistris of these villages have built and developed the infrastructre, temples, community halls around the villages in late 19th century. Some of these Mistris made it big during early days of Railways construction by British during 1860-1930 and established themselves as contractors and Coal Mines owners in India.
However, majority of old houses of Mistris with unique architect were destroyed in the earthquake of 26th January, 2001.
with Hirji Vishram stationed at Paksey and others at Kustia, both places are now in Bangladesh.
Mandir built by Nanji Govindji Tank of village is there in outskirts. Thakur
Mandir and Kuldevi Temples of many clans of these Kutch Gurjar Kshatriya community are also there in this village for example the there is temple of Pithal Maa, Kuldevi of Parmars of Hajapar, Loharia, etc. is in the village.
