The Government Palace of Mongolia
is located on the north side of Sükhbaatar Square
, Ulan Bator. It houses various state organs such as the legislative State Great Khural, offices of president, prime minister and members of State Great Khural. It was also known among Ulaanbaatar residents as "Saaral Ordon," or "Gray Palace" in the Mongolian language
due to the exterior's color.

In 2005/2006 the palace was renovated and extended, as a result of which Sükhbaatar's Mausoleum, which housed the remains of the most well-known leader of Mongolia's 1921 revolution, was torn down and replaced by a hall that houses a grand statue of Genghis KhanGenghis Khan
