Feyenoord allowed Zuiverloon to join a youth training session, and after having proven himself at this session he was allowed to join the club, where he spent 11 years in various youth teams.

On 2 July 2008 it was confirmed by Heerenveen that he had signed a three-year deal, with an extra year in the club's favour, for West Bromwich Albion

He was loaned out to Championship side Ipswich Town but returned to his parent club, after four appearances for Ipswich, in December 2010. He was released by the club on 25 May 2011.
