The town of Dover-Foxcroft (population 4,300) is 80 miles (128.7 km) from the Atlantic Ocean, Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, 10 miles (16.1 km) from the mountains and lakes of northern Maine and 3–4 hours from Portland and Boston.
