History
The air defense missile wing was established in 1959 as an air defense regiment 3 in Essen-copper spin. In the same year the transfer was to Bocholt, 1960 in Osnabrück. 1965 was the introduction of the weapon system Hawk air defense missile regiment 3 Krummenort renamed and moved to near Rendsburg. 1967 moved to the Association for heath. There it was established in 1989 to command an air defense missiles and 1992 reclassified to-air missile squadrons first In 1994, the squadron moved to its present location.
