History

In early 1960s he came to the Netherlands where he came in contact with the Surinamese Youth Association Manan, the counterpart of the Creole Hindustani Association of Suriname where he was active. In collaboration with Harry and William Lutchman he wrote a book on Anglo-Indian immigration to Suriname which was published in 1963.

Azimullah, together with Ganpat, started a trade in tropical products. Afterwards, he turned to study in political science in Amsterdam
