, Kombo was ordained to the Roman Catholic priesthood for the Society of Jesus
on July 6, 1973. Pope John Paul II
appointed Kombo the third bishop of the Diocese of Nkayi on December 5, 1983 and he was consecrated bishop on January 6, 1984. On July 7, 1990, Pope John Paul II appointed Bishop Kombo to the Diocese of Owando. Kombo died in Paris, France on October 22, 2008.
