Dunbar Vocational High School is a public

neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. It is named in honor of the African-American poet Paul Laurence Dunbar
. Dunbar opened in 1942, and it is located on a 12 acre campus in the historic Bronzeville neighborhood. It became the first predominately black vocational high school in Chicago.
(CPL) and is a member of the Illinois High School Association
(IHSA).
