Gerace has held the Canadian Track and Field Records in Shot-put, Broad Jump, High Jump, Pentathlon and in 1964 the World Indoor Record in High Jump. At the Canadian Olympic Trials in August 1964, Gerace was the gold medalist and won the Women's Aggregate Trophy for Most Outstanding Athlete.
