Diamond Hill Plywood is based in the Florence region, and is ironically owned and operated by identical twins John and Jim Ramsey. Their grandfather Sherman Ramsey, who started Diamond Hill Plywood, is said to have made one end (currently Turn 4) of Darlington Raceway narrower to protect a minnow pond on his property.
