After a period as a bassist in various bands in the Essex
area Dave formed Stitch with Shortfaced Bear and Glitch in 1997. After three years and hundreds of hours of unreleased material recorded onto a minidisc

He was instrumental in the formation of the Temporary Autonomous Art exhibitions as part of Random Artists where he often performed live sets.
