These people originally inhabited the Arabian Peninsula

 and other Gulf countries. The word Darzada means "person who has came from some other place".

Other than Makran, they are also populated in other parts of Pakistani Balochistan , Iranian Balochistan, Sindh province of Pakistan, Arab countries mostly Gulf States, Iraq, Syria, and Egypt. These people were brought in to Makran as slaves for Balochs and other nations which were traded by the Indian and Arab pirates. Some notable pirates who were involved in these practices include Raja Dahir who was later defeated and killed by Muhammad Bin Qasim.

Some personalities of the Dardaza tribe are Lala Muneer, a Baloch leader that was allegedly killed by ISI
