, as part of its LS-1300 line. It is at 109.8W. In May of 2004, DIRECTV successfully launched DIRECTV 7S, their second high powered spot beam. DIRECTV 7S is located at the 119 degree orbital slot. In order to make room for this new satellite, DIRECTV moved DIRECTV 5 from 119 degrees to 72.5 degrees west longitude.
