Churchill Brothers SC were started up in 1988 as Varca Club After one season under the name Varca Club they renamed themselves Brothers Sporting Club. Later on they were bought out by Churchill Braz Alemao

 but midway through the season Vincent left his post as the manager and Churchill Brothers SC went the rest of the season with Serbian Miric as there caretaker manager who led them to 4th in the 2010-11 I-League. On June 9, 2011 Churchill Brothers SC announced they have signed former Portugal national team assistant coach Manuel Gomes as permanent manager.

Crest

The crest of Churchill was originally green and yellow but sense the change in 2011 the crest has been red and black. The first crest was a football on grass with yellow rays coming out acting as sun rays. You also got grass growing from the bottom of the ball to make it look like grass.



Colors

The colors of Churchill Brothers kits and flags have always been red and white but before the brand new crest the home colors were white while the away colors were red. Now after the new logo was shown the home kit will be red while the away kit is white.

Ownership and Finances

The club being “Family Club” it cannot give commitments with written evidence and guarantees supplied to AIFF. The club provides audited accounts to AIFF club Regulation committee at the time.

Structure and Administration

The club has office for its administration operation with modern telecommunication facilities.

The administration has the capacity to deal efficiently with all decisions, instructions and requests of AIFF and AIFF Professional League.

The club has the capacity to organise to the standard required by the AIFF Professional-League and is also responsible for all the match arrangements and event management at designated home matches.

Churchill Brothers is known for the short-term managers who come in but barley manage to complete at least half a year on the job. They now are hoping though that new coach Manuel Gomes who was bought in on June 9, 2011 will end this trend and will last his full three year contract.
