In the summer of 1911, Dr. C.C. Uhlenbeck visited the Blackfeet
Indian reservation in Montana
to conduct field work. He was accompanied by his wife, Wilhelmina Maria Uhlenbeck, whose diary was later incorporated into their book about this expedition.
